At Florida Animal care we believe that having an annual wellness exam for your dog and/or cat is an important step toward that goal. We emphasize wellness and prevention. The annual exam allows us to develop a picture of your pet’s overall health so we may detect disease before it becomes a serious condition. It also allows us to develop a long-term comprehensive baseline profile for your pet, which will aid us in future treatment.

Wellness exams at Florida Animal Care include a full physical exam, a thorough screening for common diseases such as Heartworm Disease, Lyme Disease, and Giardia, and important vaccines that protect your dog or cat from preventable and serious diseases. All vaccine schedules are customized to reflect your pet’s individual needs. Food and nutrition guidance and a dental exam are also part of our wellness exam protocol.
