The first thing you notice is the staff at this veterinary office and how kind, patient and courteous they are. Scooby and I are always greeted politely, usually with with a friendly pet or two by a staff member walking past. There is never a long wait in a crowded waiting room. Dr Chad Wright has built a well organized business, allowing for great care in a clean comfortable space. The Dr. and the technicians have always addressed our problems and have been extremely caring with Scooby, and Diesel, they enjoy being there. I am new to SWF, I brought my Scooby who is 16, and my Diesel who is 14 with me from Jersey. It was very important for me to find a vet who took new clients and allowed me in with them. I’m grateful to have found them.

Florida Animal Care got us in and got him right into surgery
They saved my cat Remmy's life, last week we had a true emergency and my regular vet was on vacation. I called 10 different practices and no one could see us . Florida Animal Care got us in and got him right into surgery

I have a labradoodle that recently became a patient of Dr Wright, she and I have been very pleased with the care of his staff and him. She had a large mass removed from her right hip and her care was exceptional. My previous vet clinic recommended a specialty vet and we visited Dr Wright for a second opinion, we were pleased that he was up to the challenge and although she is 9 1/2 years old she recovered quickly and is back to the immature playful lovebug she has always been. Kudos to the friendly professional staff for the quality of care for my BFF ( best furry friend )! Most especially during mask wearing Covid19 pandemic ❤😷
They really love the animals they serve
The entire staff is very friendly, professional, and most of all... caring! Dr Chad diagnosed my 5 pound Miki dog with a large tumor in her throat. He referred me to a dental surgeon in Bonita Springs and called to make sure they got her in immediately for emergency surgery. The surgery bought us another year with her. The tumor has reoccurred, and when we took her back in the whole staff remembered her. They really love the animals they serve, and we appreciate the expertise this clinic provides!
The doctor was nice and I liked that he measured cost with treatment options
This was my first visit hence the four stars instead of five. So far it’s a great place, very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The doctor was nice and I liked that he measured cost with treatment options since we weren’t sure what was wrong with my dog. He had bitten a piece of his paw pad off and we don’t know if something bit him or if he was developing allergies common in Florida. My dog is a big fella who doesn’t like his paws handled and they were able to deal with him calmly and efficiently. After I go back a few more times I’ll be able to adjust my rating with more knowledge but I suspect it will probably go to five stars.
We had visited this animal hospital for the last 10 years.
The owners changed and now dr. Chad Wright is the curent DVM. I can say that he is one of the best that we had interaction with. He did a procedure that save our Love’s life. Love is one of our furry baby’s. During this experience the staff and the Dr. Wright were very supportive and communicative, describing the treatment plan, the causes of the issue and answering to all our questions. The staff is very understanding and we especially were help by Jess, Shelly and Heidi. The hospital building is clean and prepared to accommodate all furry baby’s.
By the number of people being there during our visits, looks like everyone agrees with us.

Dr. Wright saved my cat’s life!
My “Love” lost a significant amount of weight, stopped eating and was jaundiced. He was diagnosed with hepatic lipidosis. Dr. Wright recommended a feeding tube. I was hesitant and said I would try to get him to eat on his own. We took him home for the weekend, couldn’t get him to eat even his favorite treats. He had no interest in anything and was very lethargic. Back to the vet first thing Monday morning and he had lost more weight. I wasn’t ready to let him go, he’s only 5. He had the surgery about 3 weeks ago and the change is dramatic! He’s got his his color, personality and appetite back! The care we received from Dr. Wright and his whole staff could not have been any better! They are caring, considerate and very thorough. Moral of the story for me is, if treatment is recommended, don’t wait, your pet’s life depends on it. I highly recommend Florida Animal Care! I have my baby back! Thank you Dr. Wright and staff!

The staff here were stellar
Our pup had a medical emergency while we were out of town and the boarding kennel brought him in. The staff here were stellar. Not only did they communicate with us but they communicated with the boarding facility as well. Stephanie and Dr. Wright as well as the rest of the team were wonderful! Thank you for all you did for Rusty.

I would not trust anyone else with my baby. Clean environment. Respectable and professional staff; you wont find another team who cares about your pets as much. As if they were their own ❤ they truly do treat your fur babies like family.

Our dog is doing well now again
The doctors and staff are all professional and friendly. The staff really is the friendliest we have encountered. We travel full time and recently our dog had a minor problem. The doctor was able to diagnose the problem and present a plan. Our dog is doing well now again. Whenever we are in south west Florida we will make the drive to Florida Animal Care
